The GrADS packages are built by compiling the sources distributed by the opengrads project. The Gempak rpm and deb packages are created by compiling the original sources. After the rpm or deb installation, no further manual configuration of Gempak or GrADS is needed to work with nbsp, leaving a complete working environment ``out of the box''.
The minimal CD contains only Nbsp or Npemwin.
The price of the CD's is just the cost of preparing the packages and mailing the CD's. There is no official support included for installation or use of any of the programs. However, we are actually always willing to help, informally, with anything related to those issues, and professional support is available separately as well.
