Some of the data files that are saved in the digatmos directory can be used by IDV These include the grib data files, which are saved in the directory
digatmos/model/griband the frontal bulletins that saved in
digatmos/nwx/hpc/frontsAssuming that the noaaport data directories have been exported via Samba, the data files mentioned above can be opened from the IDV menu
Data -> New Source -> From the File Systemspecifying in that same menu the corresponding file type, grid or frontal bulletin.
The same data can be accessed remotely by selecting the ``Catalog'' item in that same menu, and pointing to
http://nbspserver:8015/_catalog/digatmossubstituting nbspserver by the correct name or ip.
